Sweet Jar Competition – Terms & Conditions

Organiser: Duckworth Group
 

1. Eligibility: The competition is open to individuals aged 18 or over attending the Schools Exhibition 2026. No purchase is necessary.
    

2. How to enter: Guess the number of sweets in the jar and submit your name, school or organisation, email address and guess using the competition entry form. One entry per person.
    

3. Competition period: Entries will be accepted during the exhibition on 20th & 21st October 2026, closing at 22nd October 12pm.
    

4. Prize: The winner will receive sweet bouquet. The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative is available.
    

5. Choosing the winner: The entrant whose guess is closest to the actual number of sweets will win. In the event of a tie, the winner will be selected at random from the tied entries.
    

6. Winner notification: The winner will be contacted by email within seven days of the competition closing. If no response is received within 14 days, Duckworth reserves the right to select another winner using the same method.
    

7. Personal information: Entry details will be used to administer the competition and contact the winner. Marketing emails will only be sent where appropriate consent has been provided or another lawful basis applies. See our Privacy Policy for further information.
    

8. General: Duckworth reserves the right to amend or cancel the competition where reasonably necessary due to circumstances beyond its control, while treating entrants fairly.
