What is COSHH?

COSHH is the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) whereby the law requires employers to control substances that are hazardous to health.

Chemical safety data sheets are safety data sheets that provide information on chemical products, helping users of those chemicals to make risk assessments for their organisation. The safety data sheets describe the hazards the chemical presents, and provide information on handling, storage and emergency measures in case of accident.  Safety data sheet information can assist organisations with guidance appropriate for tasks.  By law, as we are suppliers of chemicals, we must provide an up to date safety data sheet if a substance is dangerous for supply.

Where can I find my COSHH / Chemical Safety Data Sheets?

As a Duckworth Group online account customer, you can access COSHH information for our products when logged into your account.  You will find the relevant COSHH documentation against the product record on our Duckworth Group website which is easily accessible for you 24/7.

A safety data-sheet is not a risk assessment however the information it contains can help you make your own assessment for your organisation.

As well as receiving chemicals you may also supply them to others. If you do, you must pass on information (as safety data sheets) to those whom you supply.
